State Report Card
Loveland School District has earned the rating of “Excellent with Distinction” on the Ohio Department of Education report card. The Primary School has no grades in which the statewide tests are given. Therefore, the results shown are for the District. You may also look at the results for Loveland Elementary School as LPS and LECC are “feeder schools” for that building. Ohio report cards use multiple measures to determine each district’s designation. The report card includes the federal Adequate Yearly Progress determination and the Performance Index Score calculation.
These measures contribute to the district designation. Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) is the minimum performance required of each district and school in Ohio. The federal No Child Left Behind Act requires Ohio to set AYP goals each year and raise the bar in gradual increments so that all of Ohio’s students are proficient on state reading and mathematics assessments by the 2013-2014 school year.
