Loveland Initiative Info
Thank you from The Loveland Initiative!
The Loveland Initiative remains committed to making life better for individuals whose lives are affected by poverty. Through our Christmas Toy Store Program, we have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. Our work is only possible with the assistance of generous donations from members of the community; such as Loveland schools, area businesses, residents and churches in the community. Without donations from supporters such as yourself, the children and families who benefited from The Loveland Initiative’s services would have been left to face their challenges with poverty all alone. It is our belief that every person dealing with this issue deserves the support that we are ready and willing to give. Our many thanks to everyone who supports the efforts of The Loveland Initiative organization.
Cool School Enrichment Program
The Cool School Enrichment Program is looking for several adults and retired teachers who are interested in running the program, and being part of the program planning committee. The tutoring program has expanded to include intervention tactics and future-focused planning exercises for students in grades 1-6.
The Cool School Enrichment Program reflects a deeper collaboration with the Loveland City School District; which operates on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at Loveland Elementary 1-4 graders and Loveland Intermediate 5-6 graders throughout the school year.
If you are interested in running the programs please contact Terri Rogers, Executive Director at trogers7@fuse.net. If you would like to learn more about the organization our web address is lovelandinitiative.com.
