Mrs. Rodier’s Warriors! Character in Action at LES.
When Mrs. Rodier was recently faced with a fight with cancer, she found that she was surrounded by great fourth grade warriors! For her students the opportunity was presented to show care, service and an “outward focused” mindset.
When Mrs. Rodier’s students found out about her battle, they – spurred by caring staff and friends – realized the need to demonstrated the all important trait of “Care.” As part of the effort and in a show of support the students are shown here all wearing their pink “Rodier’s Warriors” t-shirts. Most importantly, while displaying genuine care and support for their teacher, our students experienced first-hand the value and importance in thinking of others first. We are proud of these students, and the tremendous role models presented by their teachers and support staff. At LES character education is an important part of every day!
